We have a puzzling question we want everyone to answer today.

When Mikel Obi announced he would leave Chelsea in 2017 after 11-years with the London club, it was met with a heated debate that is still trending in 2020.

Many Chelsea supporters don’t see Mikel as a legend.

Truth is our Naija boy had an impressive career with the Blues, winning 2 Premier League trophies, 4 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, the Champions League, Europa League and the Community Shield.

Yet a Chelsea fan told me while writing this that calling Mikel a Chelsea legend is branding him in the same class as the likes of Terry, Lampard, Drogba.

He Said;

 “He was simply a guy that played his part and followed instructions and was also lucky to be in a great squad but he is not a Legend”
